Fischersund - perfumery in Reykjavík
Fischersund was born in 2017 as a family-run art collective and niche perfumery based in Reykjavik, Iceland. Founded by four siblings –Ingibjörg, Jónsi, Sigurrós, and Lilja – the brand serves as a creative platform using scent, visual arts and music.
The heart of the brand lives at Fischersund 3, one of the oldest buildings in Reykjavik that previously served as Jónsi’s old recording studio. Under this roof, the story began with one scent - No. 23, which bottles the scent memory of Jónsi and his father working in the Reykjavik harbor - and quickly grew into more than 50 unique product offerings and immersive experiences all at the intersection of scent, sound and art.
Storytelling is an essential part of the brand DNA and allows us to create meaningful connections with those who enter the Fischersund world. We have three areas of discovery within Fischersund: The Art Collective, The Niche Perfumery and The Music Collective. All of our experiences and product offerings manifest through these disciplines as the ultimate form of creative expression.
